Aristóteles definía el tiempo como "el número del movimiento en relación con lo antes y lo después". En otras palabras, consideraba al tiempo como la medida cuantitativa de los cambios y movimientos en relación con su secuencia en el orden temporal. Para Aristóteles, el tiempo no existía por sí mismo, sino que estaba intrínsecamente ligado al cambio y al movimiento en el mundo físico.
(EN) Aristotle defined time as "the number of motion in relation to before and after." In other words, he regarded time as the quantitative measurement of changes and movements in relation to their sequence in temporal order. For Aristotle, time did not exist by itself, but was inherently connected to change and motion in the physical world.
